Q&A wrap-up

Whew! August seems to have just *flown* by. We of course attended the last two candidates’ meetings/Q&As in Greyfells and Tor Brant. There was a good turnout of folks at each and it was wonderful seeing many newcomers at each (welcome and hello!).

The experience of being candidates has been fascinating, and not without its work too. We’ve enjoyed visiting groups, and hearing about issues on the minds of many Skraels. We’d both like to thank the cantons again for hosting us with such warm hospitality.

To our fellow candidates, thank you for making this experience so fun, wonderful, and very relaxed. You are great people and truly excellent candidates and it was a pleasure to run alongside of you. In many ways, the past few months were made easier because we were all “on the same” page with our approach on this. Much love and respect! We’ve said it before, but no matter what – the Barony wins. :-)

We wish much luck to Their Majesties and the Selection Committee. Your task will not be easy and we don’t envy you at all.

(It will be hard to patiently await news from the Committee. We’ve had some great shows of support from across the barony though, so this is hopefully a good sign.)

Looking forward…whatever the outcome at Coronation might be for us, we plan to bring forward some of the ideas we have and see if there’s interest to further develop them. Especially around awards and ideas for events. So more to come on that down the road.
